There are debut releases and then there are DEBUT RELEASES, and this is certainly one that will be causing more than a melee on the dance floors of the world. This release should easily give a taste of the high quality to come from this imprint, with two equally satisfying yet entirely different tracks.
Whilst the aptly titled Welcome to Detroit with its sleazy, basement style jackin' techno vibe and it's awesome Detroit influences does the damage in its own techy unique way, Afterdark takes things deeper and darker, crossing between tech house, minimal and progressive perfectly. You know these both will do the absolute business on any discerning dance floor.
Both are ace tracks, I'm really liking Afterdark in particular, its going to be a big record that for a lot of Djs. Heads down fucked up drug music, perfect for DC10 and Space in Ibiza.
